IODP Expedition 356 Vane shear strength (Torvane)

Sediment strength was measured on section halves using a Humbolt Manufacturing Torvane handheld instrument. The Torvane is suitable for sediment not affected by cementation (i.e., saturated, clay-rich, soft sediment).研究人员采用Humbolt Manufacturing公司生产的Torvane手持式仪器（Torvane handheld instrument），对岩心半段开展沉积物抗剪强度测定。该仪器适用于未受胶结作用影响的沉积物（即饱和、富黏土质的软沉积物）。
