资源简介:
This compressed file contains all the datasets and scripts used in the manuscript "Configurational Fragility of Forest Landscapes Under Multiple Anthropogenic Uses," submitted to the Journal of Applied Ecology. The study investigates how land use and land cover gradients shape the configurational fragility of forest remnants in the Lower São Francisco Basin (BHBSF, Brazil). The file includes the following folders and files:/shapefiles/:Polygonal layers of forest fragments larger than 1 ha, with attributes describing the fragment area, core area (50 m buffer), shape index, core area index (CAI), and configurational fragility classification (low, medium, high)./land_use/:Processed land use and land cover data (derived from the MapBiomas 7 Collection), reclassified into ecological categories used in the PCA and db-RDA analyses./fragility_classification/:Hierarchical clustering results showing the distribution of fragments across fragility levels./multivariate_analysis/:Matrices prepared for PCA and db-RDA, including Hellinger-transformed configurational fragility data./scripts/:R scripts used to calculate landscape metrics (area, core area, shape index, CAI), perform PCA and db-RDA, and generate figures included in the manuscript.Reusability Potential:These datasets provide transparency and reproducibility for the analyses presented in the manuscript. They can be reused for comparative studies in landscape ecology, forest fragmentation, and conservation planning in tropical watersheds.ID: Unique identifier of each forest fragment.Area (ha): Patch area.CoreArea (ha): Interior area excluding 50 m edge buffer.ShapeIndex: Perimeter-to-area ratio.CAI (%): Core Area Index.FragilityLevel: categorical classification of configurational fragility (low, medium, high).
