Is MHC in Japanese frogs important for resistance to the deadly chytrid fungus?

Transcriptome data was generated for several Japanese frog species to extract and characterize immune genes such as that of the major histocompatibility complex. In addition, to understand the species relationships, we extracted mitochondrial genes to construct phylogenetic relationships. The sequences in this project are the mitochondrial genes extracted from the cDNA transcriptome libraries. There is possibility of sequence error due to assembly error or low sequence coverage.
