Vicmap Admin - Ward Polygon 2008

Part of the Vicmap Admin dataset series. This dataset contains WARD Boundaries (WARDS) for all LGA's within Victoria. WARDS are defined by Local Government Victoria, Dept. for Victorian Communities (DVC) and maintained by the Victorian Electoral Comission. \n\nAligned to Vicmap Property. WARD boundaries may contain overlaps and slivers due to maintenance regime. It is the intention that these will be removed over the next 12 months.\n\nNOTE: This dataset was superceded by WARD_2012 in July 2012, and was withdrawn in October 2012 from the Vicmap Admin product.

本数据集属于Vicmap Admin数据集系列。本数据集包含维多利亚州内所有地方政府辖区（Local Government Area，LGA）对应的选区边界（WARD Boundaries），该边界由维多利亚州地方政府、维多利亚社区部（Dept. for Victorian Communities，DVC）划定，并由维多利亚州选举委员会负责维护。

本数据集与Vicmap Property数据集对齐。由于维护机制的限制，选区边界数据可能存在重叠与狭长碎多边形问题，相关清理工作计划在未来12个月内完成。

注意：本数据集已于2012年7月被WARD_2012数据集取代，并于2012年10月从Vicmap Admin产品库中下架。
