Microstructure-guided optimization of octahedral lattice structures for enhanced energy absorption via LPBF

This dataset supports the experimental and microstructural analysis presented in the study titled “Microstructure-guided optimization of octahedral lattice structures for enhanced energy absorption via LPBF.” It includes raw and processed data from uniaxial compression tests, micro-computed tomography (Micro-CT), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) performed on both initial and optimized Ti6Al4V lattice structures fabricated using laser powder bed fusion (LPBF). The repository also contains high-resolution figures, mechanical performance metrics, porosity analysis, original microscopy images, and defect quantification maps. These data are intended to support reproducibility, secondary analysis, and future modeling efforts in the field of additive manufacturing and architected materials.
