Development of a time-stamped Distributed Data Acquisition System for K=600 Spectrometer

Ethics Clearance Reference: N/A<br>This is the results obtained from the development of a prototype Data Acquisition System, that uses streaming technologies as an external memory buffer for use in Physics data acquisition systems. It shows the SW used to develop the prototype distributed readout software for an experimental facility at iThemba LABS. This work builds the an ongoing project known as the Dolosse Data Acquisition System and will focus on the development of a new distributed data acquisition readout software on the readout computer that is based on the project’s architecture.
