Detailed vehicle count at the exit of rue Van Loo in Aix en Provence from 25/09/2023 to 30/09/2023

### Motivations for creating the dataset The main objective was to provide an overview of the situation in the neighbourhood using figures, which were used as evidence, as such a study had never been carried out. Indeed, it was a question of playing the role of counters to see the directions taken by the vehicles in the area studied. This panorama makes it possible to sort between the different vehicles, and thus to be able to respond to the future development of the district: reduction of traffic, prioritization of certain vehicles, pedestrianization of streets... There was no funding for the creation of the dataset. The members of the CIQ Faubourg Sextius took their personal time to collect data (about 12 hours a day). ### Composition of the dataset The dataset contains on each line the count of vehicles observed at the intersection of Rue Van Loo and Cours Sextius over a period of 2 hours depending on the type of vehicle: * 2 wheels * craftsmen deliveries * truck -3,5t * truck +3,5t * technical services * Light vehicles of Bouches-du-Rhône (VL 13) * Light vehicles from other departments or countries (VL other) and according to the direction of travel: * high sextius * cordeliers * carders * Thermal baths * Low sextius. To understand these directions of travel, you can consult the map at the following address: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/43.52966/5.44421 ### Data collection process The data were entered manually, on a case-by-case basis, and without IT tools. Three volunteers collected data on their free time. The collection took place from September 25 to September 30 (inclusive), every day from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. It was extended until 8.30 p.m. on Friday 29 September, in response to the influx of vehicles. You have to think about removing this niche to compare the data day by day. The vehicles were counted at the exit of Van Loo Street. Vehicles that passed over several times were counted only once. ### Data pre-processing The digitised counting sheets are available at the following address: https://public.hey.com/p/QEt7UtwgrNDFVLYidp5buTiV They were put into a database on Monday 2 October by the students of the Master 2 Information professions from Sciences Po Aix and EJCAM within the pedagogical framework of the course Digital issues of information supervised by Samuel Goëta. Sciences Po Aix and EJCAM are not responsible for the content or uses of the data. ### Dissemination of the dataset The data is made available to everyone on data.gouv.fr under ODbL license. ### Maintenance of the dataset There are no plans to update these data, the figures are representative of the situation and vary little, excluding school holidays. ### Legal and Ethical Considerations The data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to individuals.### 数据集创建动机 本数据集的核心目标是通过统计数据对研究街区的现状进行全景呈现，以作为研究佐证——此前尚无同类研究开展。本工作旨在通过计数手段，统计研究区域内不同车辆的通行流向，以此梳理各类车辆的通行特征，从而为该区域未来的发展规划提供支撑，例如交通流量削减、特定车辆通行优先、街道步行化改造等。 本数据集的创建未获得任何经费支持，CIQ Faubourg Sextius的成员利用个人休息时间开展数据采集工作，日均耗时约12小时。 ### 数据集构成 本数据集的每一行均记录了Van Loo街与Cours Sextius交叉口的车辆计数结果，统计周期为2小时，按车辆类型分为以下类别： * 两轮车 * 商户配送车辆（craftsmen deliveries） * 3.5吨及以下卡车 * 3.5吨以上卡车 * 工程服务车辆 * 罗讷河口省轻型车辆（VL 13，Light vehicles of Bouches-du-Rhône） * 其他省份或境外轻型车辆（VL other，Light vehicles from other departments or countries） 同时按行驶方向划分为以下类别： * 上塞克西于斯方向（high sextius） * 科尔德利耶方向（cordeliers） * 卡德斯方向（carders） * 温泉浴场方向（Thermal baths） * 下塞克西于斯方向（Low sextius） 如需了解上述行驶方向的具体含义，可访问以下地图链接：https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/43.52966/5.44421 ### 数据采集流程 本次数据采用人工逐例记录的方式采集，未借助任何信息化工具。共有三名志愿者利用闲暇时间完成数据采集工作。 采集时段为9月25日至9月30日（含首尾两日），每日采集时间为早6:30至晚6:30。其中9月29日（周五）因车辆通行量激增，采集时段延长至晚8:30，在进行逐日数据对比时需剔除该时段的额外采集数据。 车辆计数点位设置在Van Loo街的出口处，同一车辆多次途经时仅计数一次。 ### 数据预处理 数字化后的计数表单可通过以下链接获取：https://public.hey.com/p/QEt7UtwgrNDFVLYidp5buTiV 202X年10月2日（周一），艾克斯政治学院（Sciences Po Aix）与EJCAM的信息专业硕士二年级（Master 2 Information professions）学生，在Samuel Goëta开设的《信息数字化议题（Digital issues of information）》课程的教学框架下，将上述数据录入数据库。Sciences Po Aix与EJCAM不对数据的内容及使用场景承担责任。 ### 数据集发布 本数据集已通过data.gouv.fr平台向全体公众开放，采用ODbL许可协议进行授权。 ### 数据集维护 目前暂无更新该数据集的计划，本次采集的数据能够反映该区域的日常通行状况，除寒暑假外整体变化幅度较小。 ### 法律与伦理考量 本数据集采用聚合式统计，无法追溯至单个个体。
