Fiji Levelling Survey Report - 2008

This report outlines the level survey completed during the visit to Lautoka, Fiji Islands, from 24 September to 4 October 2008.This is the third EDM Height Traversing levelling survey of the deep bench mark array in Lautoka, Viti Levu, Fiji Islands. This is a repeat survey. On eight previous occasions, from October 1992 to May 2003, the Fiji level survey was performed by the National Tidal Centre (NTC) using the Precise Differential Levelling technique.This project is sponsored by the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), managed by the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) and supported by the National Geospatial Reference Systems Project (NGRS), Geospatial Earth Monitoring Division, GEOSCIENCE AUSTRALIA.

本报告概述了2008年9月24日至10月4日在斐济群岛劳托卡开展的水准测量工作。本次测量为针对斐济维提岛劳托卡地区深部基准点阵列实施的第三次电子测距（Electronic Distance Measurement，EDM）高程导线水准测量，属于复测作业。1992年10月至2003年5月期间，此前已先后八次开展斐济水准测量工作，均由国家潮汐中心（National Tidal Centre, NTC）采用精密微差水准测量（Precise Differential Levelling）技术完成。本项目由澳大利亚国际发展署（Australian Agency for International Development, AusAID）资助，由澳大利亚气象局（Bureau of Meteorology, BOM）负责管理，并得到地球科学澳大利亚（GEOSCIENCE AUSTRALIA）地理空间地球监测司下属的国家地理空间参考系统项目（National Geospatial Reference Systems Project, NGRS）的支持。
