Downscaled occupational employment data at the census tract level

This dataset contains census tract-level occupational employment data for 808 occupations throughout the contiguous 48 states and the District of Columbia in the U.S. The employment data was downscaled from the state-level occupational employment information provided by the 2017 Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The methodology of downscaling was recorded in the article published in Applied Geography (Wang et al., 2024).
