Biomphalaria glabrata hemolymph microbial sequences

This dataset contains 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing data from the hemolymph of Biomphalaria glabrata snails of different genotypes (RR, RS, SS) at a single genomic locus (Polymorphic Transmembrane Cluster 2) associated with resistance to Schistosoma mansoni infection. Sequencing was performed on the Illumina MiSeq platform to characterize genotype-driven differences in the hemolymph microbiome, with implications for understanding schistosomiasis control.
