Investigating the function of the heme-binding protein MpRLF in Marchantia polymorpha organ development

The aim of this study is to evaluate how the heme-binding protein MpRLF is involved in organ development in Marchantia polymorpha. Through RNA sequencing, we compared the transcriptomic profiles of the wild-type strain (Tak-1) and the Mprlf mutant, which harbors a mutation in MpRLF. Identification of differentially expressed genes provided insights into the molecular mechanisms governing organ development in M. polymorpha.
