This scholarly article explores pedagogical methods for improving primary school students’ literacy using Hadiths (prophetic traditions) as an educational tool. It integrates Islamic ethical teachings with foundational literacy skills—reading, writing, vocabulary, and comprehension. The study proposes age-appropriate strategies, including storytelling, dictation, vocabulary games, and moral reflection exercises based on selected Hadiths. Emphasizing holistic development, the article demonstrates how religious texts can serve as secular literacy resources in early childhood education, particularly in Muslim-majority contexts. Practical classroom applications and assessment techniques are discussed.
