The data archive includes compositional and geographic data for geologic samples from the Alca obsidian source in the Peruvian Andes. Compositional data for geologic samples from six other Peruvian obsidian sources are also included. Tables S1-S4 provide data for samples in csv format: Table S1 neutron activation analysis (NAA) concentrations; Table S2 laboratory energy-dispersive x-ray fluorescence (ED-XRF) concentrations; Table S3 portable x-ray fluorescence (pXRF) concentrations; Table S4 portable x-ray fluorescence (pXRF) precision analysis. Concentrations are parts per million (ppm). Geographic coordinates are UTM Zone 18S, Datum WGS-84, elevations are meters above sea level. The ED-XRF and pXRF datasets include compositional data for geologic samples from six other Peruvian obsidian sources: Anillo, Chivay, Jampatilla, Lisahuacho, Potreropampa, and Quispisisa. Figures S1 and S2 are .tif maps plotting Alca obsidian geologic samples and Arma and Sencca ignimbrite formations mapped by Peru's Instituto Geológico Minero y Metalúrgico (INGEMMET). 本数据集档案包含秘鲁安第斯山脉阿尔卡(Alca)黑曜岩产地的地质样品成分与地理数据,同时涵盖另外六个秘鲁黑曜岩产地的地质样品成分数据。 附表S1至S4以CSV格式提供样品相关数据:表S1为中子活化分析(neutron activation analysis, NAA)浓度数据;表S2为实验室能量色散X射线荧光(energy-dispersive x-ray fluorescence, ED-XRF)浓度数据;表S3为便携式X射线荧光(portable x-ray fluorescence, pXRF)浓度数据;表S4为便携式X射线荧光(pXRF)精密度分析数据。所有浓度单位均为百万分比(parts per million, ppm)。地理坐标采用UTM投影带18S,基准面为WGS-84,海拔以米为单位,以海平面为基准。 ED-XRF与pXRF数据集涵盖另外六个秘鲁黑曜岩产地的地质样品成分数据,产地分别为阿尼约(Anillo)、奇韦(Chivay)、江帕蒂利亚(Jampatilla)、利萨瓦乔(Lisahuacho)、波特罗潘帕(Potreropampa)及奎斯皮西萨(Quispisisa)。 附图S1与S2为TIFF格式地图,分别标注了阿尔卡黑曜岩地质样品,以及秘鲁地质矿业与冶金研究所(Instituto Geológico Minero y Metalúrgico, INGEMMET)测绘的阿尔马(Arma)与森卡(Sencca)熔结凝灰岩地层。 本研究的方法、结果与研究意义详见Rademaker等(2021)发表于《第四纪国际(Quaternary International)》的论文,DOI链接:https://doi.org/10.1016/j.quaint.2021.11.029
