Head of Satyr

This sculpture is a classic example of the Roman period head of Satyr discovered in Souli. In Greek mythology, a satyr is the member of a troop of ithyphallic male companions of Dionysus这件雕塑是在索利（Souli）出土的罗马时期萨堤罗斯（Satyr）头像的经典范例。在希腊神话中，萨堤罗斯是狄俄尼索斯（Dionysus）麾下一群阳具勃起的男性同伴团体的成员。
