Traffic counters Hamburg

The data set contains all traffic counting points in Hamburg for vehicle, cycling and foot traffic.
A distinction is made between permanent counting points, annual counting points and demand counting points.

So far, permanent counting points only exist for cars and automatically record traffic 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
Annual counting points exist for both car and cycling traffic and are counting points where traffic is usually recorded once a year from 6 to 7 a.m.
Demand counting points exist for all types of traffic. The counts are made upon request, e.g. in connection with traffic planning or investigations.

Furthermore, the places/points derived from permanent counting points and annual counting points of yearly cross-sectional values (so-called “levels”) are indicated for motor and cycling traffic.
