The 1-kilometer grid remote sensing dataset of nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) concentration in China provides spatial distribution data of NO₂ concentration across the entire country from 2006 to 2021, with a 1-kilometer grid resolution. This dataset can comprehensively reveal the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of NO₂ concentration in China at multiple scales including national, provincial, municipal, and urban agglomeration levels. It facilitates a thorough understanding of regional changes and differences in NO₂ concentration both within individual administrative units and among different administrative units. Additionally, the dataset supports research on regional NO₂ concentration changes by focusing on key areas, and can provide policy guidance for atmospheric environmental quality management and planning in China's key regions, as well as a scientific data foundation for the joint prevention and control of air pollution.
