The main objective of Islamic Education is to provide an intellectual platform for national and international researchers to discuss their most recent findings related to educational psychology. By doing so, the journal hopes to improve the status of the field in Iran and in the world and to find solutions to theoretical and practical problems the profession is faced with. To serve this purpose, researchers are encouraged to submit their unpublished, original, full-length papers for potential publication in the journal. The journal is set to publish original articles on a wide range of issues including; Philosophy of Islamic education; Schools and approaches to Islamic education; Educational jurisprudence (Fiqh); Foundations, principles and methodology of Islamic education; History of Islamic education; Educational thoughts, views and ideas of Muslim scholars; Educational sciences such as educational management, curriculum planning and educational psychology with an Islamic approach; Comparative studies; The areas and dimensions of education in Islam include religious education, devotional education, moral education, sexual education, political education, and so on; Methodology of research in Islamic education; Examining different aspects of formal education with Islamic perspective.

本伊斯兰教育（Islamic Education）期刊的核心宗旨，是为国内外研究者搭建学术交流平台，以供其探讨与教育心理学相关的最新研究成果。借此，本刊旨在提升伊斯兰教育领域在伊朗乃至全球的学术地位，并为该专业所面临的理论与实践难题探寻解决方案。为达成此目标，本刊诚邀研究者提交未公开发表的原创性长篇论文，以供本刊遴选刊发。本刊拟刊发涵盖广泛议题的原创文章，具体包括：伊斯兰教育哲学；伊斯兰教育的流派与研究路径；教育法学（Fiqh）；伊斯兰教育的基础、原则与研究方法论；伊斯兰教育史；穆斯林学者的教育思想、主张与理念；采用伊斯兰视角的教育科学分支（如教育管理、课程规划与教育心理学）；比较研究；伊斯兰教育的范畴与维度（涵盖宗教教育、信仰教育、道德教育、性教育、政治教育等诸多领域）；伊斯兰教育的研究方法；以伊斯兰视角探析正规教育的多维度面向。
