The microbiome analysis reveals the occurrence of root rot disease in wine grape

Samples of root system, rhizosphere soil, and root surface soil were collected from 5 major wine grape-producing areas at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain in Ningxia, China from June to July 2022 and 2023, respectively. Two main wine grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, were collected at each sampling site. The trees were about 10 years old, and their roots were vertically distributed in 0-40 cm underground soil depth.
