Dataset of the cross-sectional post-partum surveys un Burkina Faso

This dataset presents the infomation collected in Burkina Faso from two cross-sectional postpartum surveys; one was conducted before implementation start and one will be conducted towards the end of the intervention. The postpartum survey comprises face-to-face interviews (Form 2) with a representative sample of postpartum women who gave birth in participating healthcare facilities during a specific time period. The survey data is linked to information obtained from each woman medical record (Form 1). The survey provides information on birthing women’s background characteristics; knowledge about and preferences for mode of birth both before and after birth; maternal and neonatal health outcomes; birth experience and satisfaction; and experiences with labour companionship and the decision-analysis-tool. In addition, the survey captures outcomes related to gender and social equity, wealth index and out-ofpocket expenditures. The second postpartum survey was conducted towards the end of the implementation period.

本数据集收录了布基纳法索境内开展的两项横断面产后调查所采集的信息：一项于干预启动前完成，另一项将于干预末期开展。本次产后调查采用面对面访谈形式（问卷2），受访对象为在特定时间段内于参与合作的医疗机构分娩的产后女性代表性样本。调查数据与每位女性的病历（问卷1）所获取的信息进行了关联。该调查涵盖了分娩女性的背景特征、分娩前后对分娩方式的认知与偏好、孕产妇及新生儿健康结局、分娩体验与满意度，以及分娩陪护与决策分析工具的使用体验相关信息。此外，本次调查还收录了与性别与社会公平、财富指数及自付医疗费用相关的结局指标。第二项产后调查于干预实施末期完成。
