Two biofilters were establish to study the effect of spermidine on biofilters at low temperature. Two lab-scale biofilters were operated at low temperature to treat gaseous toluene for 100 days. Biofilm samples from the packing surfaces of two biofilters were collected at day 20 and 60 for 16S rDNA sequencing and metagenome sequencing.
