Purple Sector Coding Database

The Purple Sector Coding Database (Version 1.0) systematizes approximately between 150-200 primary policy and legal sources produced between 2000 and 2025 across Uruguay, Ecuador, Brazil, and Peru. Each document was coded according to four analytical dimensions — Recognition, Enforcement and Formalisation, Access and Care Infrastructure, and Integration and Policy Learning — to assess the institutional maturity of care-related policies and their degree of coordination across welfare and labour systems. The database enables cross-country comparison of care-policy trajectories and supports the operationalisation of the Purple Economy framework through the concept of the Purple Sector.紫色产业（Purple Sector）编码数据库（版本1.0）系统性整理了2000年至2025年间，乌拉圭、厄瓜多尔、巴西与秘鲁四国约150至200份核心政策与法律文献。每份文献均依据四大分析维度——认可（Recognition）、执行与规范化（Enforcement and Formalisation）、获取与照护基础设施（Access and Care Infrastructure）、整合与政策学习（Integration and Policy Learning）——进行编码，以评估照护相关政策的制度成熟度，及其在福利与劳动体系间的协调程度。该数据库可实现照护政策发展轨迹的跨国比较，并依托紫色产业（Purple Sector）这一概念，助力紫色经济（Purple Economy）框架的落地实施。
