Resistance and resilience of fish gut microbial communities to silver nanoparticles

Understanding mechanism of ecological resistance and resilience governing microbial community is important for predicting community response to disturbance. Although we have a good understanding of such an issue in other habitats (e.g. soil, lake), how ecological resilience processes regulate host-microbiome system remains unknown. Here, adult zebrafish were exposed to three concentrations of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs), then we explored the ecological resistance and resilience of gut microbiota in response to AgNPs exposure.
