Single-cell RNA-seq of human liver samples

We performed in-depth serial immune cell mapping of human donor livers before and after normothermic machine perfusion (NMP) as well as after reperfusion to specifically investigate the source of immunomodulatory cytokines/chemokines and the dynamics of immune activation at the single-cell level. Overall design: In-depth serial immune cell mapping of eight human donor livers before and after normothermic machine perfusion (NMP) as well as after repserfusion was applied to specifically investigate the source of immunomodulatory cytokines/chemokines and the dynamics of immune activation at the single-cell level. We validated and visualized our findings by multiplex immunofluorescent (IF) staining in liver biopsies.
