Sharks in Greece - Social Media Citizen Science Project

The project aims to record the shark species that occurs in Greece. To achieve that we are using social media (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, etc) and news media to record the observations that have be made by citizens (using the Citizen Science Method). <br>When needed more informations we contacted the citizens that have observed the sharks and asked them if they can give more data to their observations.<br>Then the data was recorded in a form (our database) which created for this project and the species were identified by shark experts (Greeks and other Nationalities).<br><br><br>
