Algal blooms in China lakes over the past two decades

This dataset provides bloom occurrence (BO, in %), onset (in day-of-year, or DOY), potential occurrence period (POP, in days), and maximum bloom extent (MBE, in km2) for 103 China freshwater lakes in the entire period (2003-2020), which was generated using MODIS satellite observation.
