This dataset provides annual maps of global drought-induced forest mortality from 2014 to 2018. It is the primary research output supporting the publication: "Mapping global drought-induced forest mortality based on multiple satellite vegetation optical depth data" (available at: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.rse.2024.114406). The data is intended to provide critical support for research in global ecosystem dynamics, climate change impacts, and forest health monitoring.
