PMA2020 Niger Round 2 Household & Female Survey (2016)

Niger (National) Round 2 Household and Female (HQFQ) survey used a two-stage cluster design with Niamey, urban areas outside of Niamey, and rural areas as the strata. A sample of 84 enumeration areas (EAs) was drawn by Niger’s National Statistics Institute (INS) from its master sampling frame. Each EA was listed and mapped. 35 households were randomly selected. Occupants in selected households were enumerated and eligible females of reproductive age (15-49) were contacted and consented for interview. Data collection was conducted between February and April, 2016. The final completed sample was 2,894 households and 3,193 women of reproductive age.
