Single Individual Genome of Hydrotaea aenescens

Generation of a single individual adult genome assembly using long-read sequencing and HiC scaffolding to understand the comparative genomics of fly species. The goal of this project was to generate a high quality reference genome for Hydrotaea aenescens to compare the unique genomic mechanisms using comparative genomics.
