WFS map of radon prevention areas in Saxony according to § 121 Radiation Protection Act

The State Office for the Environment Agriculture and Geology (LfULG) has determined by general order radon prevention areas. These are areas under Section 121 of the Radiation Protection Act (StrlSchG), for which it is expected that the annual averaged radon-222 activity concentration in the air in a significant number of buildings with residences or workplaces exceeds the reference value according to § 124 or § 126 StrlSchG of 300 Bq/m³.
