Dataset for Multi-Parameter Prediction of Inkjet Droplet Characteristics 1. Overview This dataset contains 1,408 experimental samples designed for predicting the characteristics of inkjet droplets based on dual-pulse piezoelectric driving waveform parameters. The data was collected using an adaptive sampling strategy guided by Sobol sensitivity analysis to efficiently cover a six-dimensional parameter space. This dataset is the foundation of the research presented in the following paper: S. Tang, H. Zhan, Y. Zhang, Y. Zhang, and Y. File Description inkjet_dataset.csv: A CSV file containing 1,408 rows (samples) and 9 columns (6 input features + 3 output targets). 3. Data Dictionary Input Parameters (Features) These are the six key parameters of the dual-pulse driving waveform used to actuate the piezoelectric printhead. | | Column Name | Description | Unit | | slew | The voltage slew rate (rise/fall slope) of the main pulse. | V/μs | | V_hold1 | The dwell voltage of the main pulse. | V | | t_hold1 | The dwell time (duration) of the main pulse. | μs | | V_hold2 | The dwell voltage of the sub-pulse. | V | | t_hold2 | The dwell time (duration) of the sub-pulse. | μs | | Δt | The interval time between the main and sub-pulses. | μs | Output Parameters (Targets) These are the three measured characteristics of the ejected droplet corresponding to each set of input parameters. | Column Name | Description | Unit | | Velocity | The measured average velocity of the ejected droplet. | m/s | | Volume | The calculated volume of the ejected droplet. | pL | | Score | A comprehensive quality score (0-100) evaluating the droplet's morphology. Experimental Conditions Printhead Model: Fuji Samba G3L Ink Formulation: A mixture of ethylene glycol and deionized water in a 50%:50% ratio. Experimental Temperature: Maintained at 25 ± 0.5 °C. 5.
