THE ROLE OF SYNONYMS AND ANTONYMS IN THE LANGUAGE SYSTEM

This article examines the role of synonyms and antonyms in the language system and their importance in the process of communication. In linguistics, synonyms and antonyms are considered important types of lexical-semantic relations that contribute to the richness and expressiveness of language.
