The role of built environment, personal, religious, cultural, and socioeconomic factors in increasing overweight and obesity rate in women vs men: A case study of Karachi, Pakistan

Data for 210 randomly selected study participants in from six neighborhoods (two from each SES) in low-income, middle-income, and high-income socioeconomic status. Including demographical data, male and female study participants (20 years and above) filled a guided and detailed survey questionnaire for various “SES”, “Personal”, “Cultural”, “Religious”, and “Built Environment” related questions which affect their ability to perform PA and/or sport in their neighborhoods.

本数据集涵盖210名随机选取的研究参与者的相关数据，其中包含人口统计学信息。这些参与者来自覆盖低收入、中等收入及高收入社会经济地位（SES，Socioeconomic Status）层级的6个社区，每个社会经济地位层级各设2个社区。所有参与者年龄均在20岁及以上，涵盖男性与女性群体，他们填写了一份标准化且详尽的调查问卷，问卷涉及社会经济地位、个人、文化、宗教及建成环境等多维度相关问题，上述因素均会影响参与者在所属社区内开展体力活动（PA，Physical Activity）及体育运动的能力。
