资源简介:
This dataset contains 10,000 synthetic clinical notes designed to reflect the unique linguistic and structural characteristics of clinical documentation in India. Version 2.0 represents a significant enhancement over the initial release, featuring improved data generation methodology and expanded medical specialty coverage. The notes were generated using an enhanced Python script (`note_generator_v2.py`) that leverages expanded templates, semantic patterns, and linguistic variations derived from real-world examples of Indian clinical documentation. The dataset is intended for researchers and developers working on Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks in the medical domain, particularly those focused on the Indian context. It can be used for training and evaluating language models, developing information extraction systems, clinical entity recognition, and exploring the semantic nuances of Indian clinical text. Using a web search/crawler images, pdf files related to Indian Clinical Notes were collected and analysed. The notes were then remade synthetically using python script . Dataset Composition: The dataset includes notes from five different medical specialties: - **Cardiology - **Neurology - **Pediatrics - **General Medicine - **Oncology** Count : 10K All notes are of medium length, providing a balance of detail and conciseness suitable for various NLP tasks, such as classification **India-Specific Semantic and Linguistic Features:** The dataset maintains and enhances the following unique characteristics: * **Hinglish:** A mix of Hindi and English commonly found in Indian clinical notes (e.g., "Patient ko fever tha", "saans lene mein takleef thi", "Dawa time pe lena") * **Socio-economic Context:** References to socio-economic status using the modified Kuppuswamy scale (Class I-V) * **Traditional Medicine:** Mentions of traditional remedies ("Desi Dawa") such as Tulsi for cough, Haldi milk for pain * **India-specific Examination Mnemonics:** Use of the "PICCKLE" mnemonic in physical examinations (Pallor, Icterus, Cyanosis, Clubbing, Koilonychia, Lymphadenopathy, Edema)
