This is a drill core taken from underground at South Crofty Tin Mine in Cornwall, around 1997, before it was closed in 1998, showing a good example of the classic style of tin mineralization associated with a shear zone. Excellent for revealing the dense cassiterite in a silicate hosted faulted rock. Measured at two different resolutions to show how we can overlay images from different measurement conditions.
