To investigate the dichotomous ontogeny of ascites-enriched macrophages and the contribution of embryonic-derived macrophages to the ascites microenvironment and tumor progression. We employed Ms4a3Cre-RosaTdT monocyte fate-mapping mouse models to precisely quantify the different ontogeny of macrophages in malignant ascites of ovarian tumour bearing mouse. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from bulk RNA-seq of 2 subpopulations of ascites-enriched macrophages with different origins.Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for embryonic- and monocyte-derived macrophages.
