The aim of the proposal is the structural characterization of nanoemulsions, niosomes, and liposomes for drug delivery. Some drugs have low viscosity, high volatility, and appreciable water solubility, which, makes it difficult to be delivered and more susceptible to destabilization when loaded in NEs. Our work has focused on: 1) identifying the best qualitative and quantitative composition of oil/water/surfactant to obtain stable NEs, using different surfactants; 2) trying to encapsulate different drugs in other nanocarriers such as Niosomes (Nio) and Liposomes (Lipo) by exploiting different preparation techniques.
