ITC was performed in 10 mM Na phosphate buffer, pH 6.5 supplemented with 100 mM NaCl or 100 mM KCl, T = 25°C. Kass is the association constant, ΔH is enthalpy changes, and N is the maximal number of bound molecules of 2 per DNA. The entropy variation (ΔS) was calculated according to the standard thermodynamic equation.
