Testing Plog's model of tourist personality traits

Survey dataset for testing Plog's model of tourist personality traits (psychocentrics/dependables/traditionals vs. allocentrics/venturers). Data include observations on the original last version of the scale developed by Stanley C. Plog, the purpose of the last leisure overnight trip, the number of overnight leisure trips taken over the last 12 months, and the distance of all destinations visited on overnight leisure trips over the last 12 months. Interviews were conducted in six Brazilian cities and each line represents a different consumer.

本调查数据集用于检验斯坦利·C·普洛格（Stanley C. Plog）提出的旅游人格特质模型，该模型将游客划分为中心型人格（psychocentrics）、依赖型人格（dependables）、传统型人格（traditionals）与外向型人格（allocentrics）、冒险型人格（venturers）。数据集包含斯坦利·C·普洛格研发的该量表最新定稿版本的观测数据、最近一次休闲过夜旅行的出行目的、过去12个月内开展的休闲过夜旅行总次数，以及过去12个月内所有休闲过夜旅行到访目的地的距离信息。本次调研在巴西六座城市开展访谈，每条数据行对应一位独立的消费者样本。
