PPR — Letter f) parks (tav. P2)

The data, range, includes “national or regional parks and reserves, as well as territories for the external protection of parks” protected pursuant to Article 142(1)(f) of Legislative Decree No 42/2004. The figure derives from the shape file of the protected areas of the Regional Biodiversity and Natural Areas, but has been amended by the Land and Landscape Sector by selecting exclusively the protected areas referred to in Article 4 of Regional Law No 19/2009 and the contiguous areas referred to in Article 6 of the same Law, as well as excluding the parties that cross the regional borders. However, it should be recalled that the PPR was based on the boundaries defined by Regional Law No 19/2009 and by the measures establishing national protected areas, but that Law 11/2019 made regulatory and cartographic changes to Regional Law 19/2009; the new boundaries defined can be downloaded from the Piedmont Region’s website, information sheet “Alphanumeric data and geographical protected areas” and the unloaded shapefile must be themed by excluding from the display “natural safeguard areas”, which do not constitute a good landscape within the meaning of Article 142(1)(f) of Legislative Decree No 42/2004.
