Carnobacterium divergens is commonly found in refrigerated foods, including meat, fish, shrimp and dairy products. These bacteria have the potential to spoil food, but also protect against pathogenic bacteria. Phages cd2, cd3 and cd4 were isolated from meat products and found to specifically target various strains of C. divergens. This study reports the draft genomes of Carnobacterium phages cd2, cd3 and cd4.
