Time allocation to fuel wood collection and rural child schooling in Uganda

The data is picked from the Uganda National Household Survey 2019/20 collected by Uganda Bureau of Statistics. It was purposively selected to include only the rural households from all regions in Uganda. It includes observations on time spent collecting fuel wood, distance to fuel wood collecting areas, income of the households, gender of the children (6-23 years), gender of the household head, age of the household members. However, these are only for rural households as mapped in the survey. The data was collected using random samples across the country and collected for a period of 12months to cater for seasonality.

本数据集取自乌干达统计局（Uganda Bureau of Statistics）采集的2019/2020年乌干达全国住户调查（Uganda National Household Survey）。本次样本特意筛选自乌干达全国各区域的农村住户，数据集包含以下观测指标：采集薪柴所耗费的时长、前往薪柴采集区域的距离、住户收入、6至23岁儿童的性别、住户户主的性别以及家庭成员年龄。需说明的是，所有观测数据仅对应本次调查划定的农村住户样本。本次数据采用全国范围随机抽样方法采集，调研周期为12个月，以覆盖季节波动带来的影响。
