Draft genome of Nocardioides sp. strain T2.26MG-1

The aim of this project is to study the genetic information of Nocardioides sp. strain T2.26MG-1 isolated from the deep subsurface of the Iberian Pyrite Belt (Huelva, Spain) in strict anaerobic conditions. It was isolated from a rock core obtained at 492.6 mbs (meters below surface); during the Iberian Pyrite Belt Subsurface Life Detection project (IPBSL). It was isolated from a methanogenic enrichment culture in a H2:CO2 (80:20) atmosphere.
