Level

For the levels shown, the current water level on the pages of the Water Advisory Service is available via a link. The state measuring network level currently comprises about 600 measuring points. It is classified in categories A and B according to the importance and function of waters and levels. A level (support level) is the most important around 200 levels in Bavaria. They have the task of providing reliable and high-quality water levels or drains that are quickly and securely available to users. They stand at the points of importance for the waters, e.g. before and after junctions, and are pointer levels for their catchment area. In addition, the water levels are recorded at the 6 most important lakes. B-levels are the remaining approximately 400 levels of the national measuring network, the data of which are required for water-related tasks. There are currently 23 levels at other lakes and reservoir lakes in Bavaria.
