RNA-seq for Erhualian pig mammary placodes

The pig teat number traits have significant economic importance. Erhualian pigs in Chinese Taihu Lake region boast the highest teat counts worldwide, with averages of 20 teats for Erhualian pig. By integrating the RNA-seq data from the mammary placodes of 26-day-old Erhualian pig embryos, we aimed to analyze the gene expression patterns during the critical period of teat formation.
