State-funded drug prescriptions dispensed in pharmacies in Spain 2010-2021

In 2021, more than one billion state-funded drug prescriptions were dispensed in pharmacies in Spain, the highest number of medicine prescriptions delivered in the depicted period. In contrast, the lowest number of drug prescriptions provided through Spanish pharmacies and paid by the social security system amounted to over 859 million medicine prescriptions in 2013.
