<strong>Main description</strong> This dataset depicts the catalysis of the fluorogenic substrate Ac-DEVD-AMC to the fluorescent substrate AMC by recombinant purified caspase-3, for fixed concentration of enzyme and variation of concentration of initial substrate. It was originally documented in <em>Biophysical Chemistry 252 (2019) 106193</em> (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.bpc.2019.106193), and then used as a study case for the webserver interferENZY (a web-based tool for enzymatic assay validation and standardized kinetic analysis; visit https://interferenzy.i3s.up.pt for more information).
