Pathogenicity and transcriptome analysis of Litopenaeus vannamei infected with Vibrio natriegens

Vibriosis is one of the factors affecting the sustainable development of shrimp aquaculture. In this study, strain AX2 was isolated from a marine shrimp culture pond of Zhanjiang South Coast Fisheries Co., Ltd. By comparing with NCBI database, the results showed that the 16S rDNA gene sequence of strain AX2 had 99.65% homology with Vibrio natriegens, which could be identified as a clade of V. natriegens.
