Target levels achieved – cardiac care, percentage (%)

The proportion of indicators when the target level has been reached out of the 3 indicators where the National Board of Health and Welfare has set a target level according to national guidelines and data is published in from the quality registers to Vården in figures. The three indicators included in the calculation are the proportion of patients with major myocardial infarction treated with acute opening of coronary arteries (reperfusion, proportion of patients treated with acute opening of coronary arteries (reperfusion) in major myocardial infarction (STEMI) and achievement of LDL cholesterol after myocardial infarction. The National Board of Health and Welfare has also set target levels for several other indicators that are not included in the calculation. These are not included in the calculation as updated data are not available. Please note that the key figure shows only the proportion of the target indicators achieved, not how close the region is to meeting the target. However, all indicators used in the calculation are shown as underlying ratios.
