Mobility: road accidents and injured persons by month and nature of the accident

The dataset contains monthly data on road accidents occurring on the territory of the Municipality of Milan, from 2001 to 2021, which caused injury to people. The data relate to the number of separate incidents according to the nature of the accident (e.g.: frontal collision, side collision, buffering, pedestrian investment, etc...) and the number of injured persons, distinguished by the outcome of the injury (wounds/dead). NOTE:
The data on road accidents collected by the Local Police on the territory of the Municipality of Milan concern (as per ISTAT indications) only accidents with injuries to persons. Those who did not cause death or injury are excluded. Persons injured in the accident who died within 30 days of the incident shall be deemed to have died as a result of the accident.
