Complete genomes of Citrobacter koseri involved in contamination of platelet concentrates in France, between 2012 and 2017

French blood supply has never been safer. However, the risk of bacterial contamination of blood products remains. Among the blood products, platelet concentrates (PCs) represent the most important infection risk of bacterial contamination. Here, we studied five Citrobacter koseri isolates involved in contamination of PCs in France between 2012 and 2017 concurrently to five isolates of Citrobacter koseri collected in clinical samples from patients hospitalized in the University Hospital of Besancon between 2012 and 2017.
